Programme Highlights
The programme aims to provide the knowledge and skills to:
  • Discuss about ethics in the financial services industry
  • Understand the principles and consequences of making an ethical decision
  • Understand the obstacles to Ethical Decision Making
  • Discuss what a financial services professional is and the financial services industry’s professional codes
  • Illustrate fair dealing and suitability in financial products marketing
  • Understand the process of ethical sales and full disclosure in marketing financial products
  • Analyse the current ethical issues in the financial services industry
Funding
- Funded Under IBF Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS)

With effect from 13 July 2018, ChFC09 - Ethics For The Financial Services Professional has been accredited under the IBF Standards and is eligible for funding under the IBF Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS), subject to all eligibility criteria being met. Available for a period, this funding is applicable only for the first assessment attempt and candidates may be self or company-sponsored.

(Examination Date & Time: 17 April 2019, 9.00 am to 10.00 am)
Time: 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm

CPD Hours: 2 CPD hours and an additional 1 CPD hour for the examination passed
Closing Date: Registration will close once all available places have been filled.
