APRIA members get together at the annual conference, held usually in late July, to share their latest research findings and learn of the latest developments in the industry. The annual conferences of APRIA have been, and will continue to be, co-organised by APRIA, and an academic institution and/or the regulatory body or an industry group of the host country. This annual event has also been supported strongly by national and international insurance companies and related organisations. Such co-operation greatly facilitates the sharing of important business and public policy ideas between scholars and industry and government professionals. Such cross-fertilisation is an APRIA hallmark.

  hosted by Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India.

• 2002 6th Annual Conference in Shanghai, China
  hosted by Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and co-hosted by Lingnan University (Hong Kong).

• 2003 7th Annual Conference in Bangkok, Thailand
  hosted by Chulalongkorn University and co-hosted by The Society of Actuaries of Thailand.

• 2004 8th Annual Conference in Seoul, Korea
  hosted by Korea Insurance Academic Society, Korea Risk Management Society and Korea Insurance Development Institute; and co-sponsored by the Financial Supervisory Board, Korea Life Insurance Association and Korea Non-life Insurance Association.
