This course helps FA reps understand how individual and company income tax concepts affect financial planning conversations. The course will not train participants to become tax advisers; instead, it helps them identify tax-sensitive planning opportunities and know when to refer clients to qualified tax professionals.
The AI component would focus on tax-impact mapping, client profiling and tax-aware financial planning prompts, using approved tools to identify planning questions around income, CPF top-ups, SRS, insurance deductibility, business protection and succession needs.
Learning Outcomes

Explain the basic structure of Singapore individual income tax, including tax residency, taxable income, reliefs, rebates and progressive tax rates.
